Simply because the government wants you to be part of the solution of creating jobs and adding value to other people by creating a strong economy.

Start with your financial literacy if you greatly want to contribute to the progress of your country. And stop blaming the government for your little financial success. It is given that the government doesn't know anything about money. Therefore, the need to protect yourself from financial mismanagement of others is to know more about money. It is not the government's fault that they do not know anything about managing money. We have undergone the same education as they are and our education do not teach anything about money.
